Born near Penzance I grew up in the countryside surrounded by farming. It was therefore a natural step to work in the industry. I went on to take an NCA course at Bicton College of Agriculture and worked in agriculture for several years thereafter, eventually moving to London to work as a tractor driver for Lambeth. I still have a keen interest and good understanding of modern farming needs. Commisions in this area are particulary interesting for me.
